expands, according to the formula adopted in the previous year, especially outside of areas of the Academy, in direct comparison with the public and with the most important institutions of Contemporary Art. Numerous events will be a dynamic path button and in tunnels, buildings and museums, with more than two hundred young artists. Within this vast art scene “Il Ponte” gallery exhibits the work of Aleksandra Zurczak. The young artist confronts existential themes making incursions into the territory of dreams and into that of legend. Its original installations often consist of various components made with traditional materials and techniques (drawing on paper, painting, sculpture) posts related to each other. The mysterious world recreated by Aleksandra Zurczak, both in small drawings Artistic collected in books and through imposing anthropomorphic shapes invading space (Bastion, 2008), introduce the spectator into a dream dimension where the innermost fears and desires of human beings are investigated with total freedom of expression. The installation created at the “Il Ponte” gallery represents a new point of arrival. Passage highlights the loneliness and hardship of the individual in relation to contemporary society, man is seen in his fragile body, crushed by its own members, the Conventions, by their own anxieties. The site-specific work created will be visible to the public until June 16, 2010. Aleksandra Zurczak born in Konin, Poland, in 1983. Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan (Poland) in 2006 held an internship at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville (USA). In 2009 obtained a scholarship to go to two years specialized Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, where he currently resides.
