PHOTO EXHIBITION – Il paesaggio de-scritto (The landscape de-wrote) Luca Capuano – Tivoli (Roma) – from March 13 to April 18, 2010
Saturday, March 13th in the prestigious halls of the Villa d’Este in Tivoli inaugurate “The landscape de-wrote. Italian Heritage sites by UNESCO, the largest photo exhibition ever made dedicated to the 44 Italian sites included in the List of World Heritage Sites.
The photographer Luca Capuano, among the thousands of images taken in nine-month trip to Italy, has selected over 450 that will form the nucleus of an exposure that arises from the need to produce an accurate record of the places on the state of the art UNESCO in Italy and the will to offer the public a comprehensive view of the extraordinary landscape that we have a responsibility to preserve.
The exhibition will speak an iconographic detail and unique, while steeped in attitude and performance of this documentary: it is the look of one single author, photographer of architecture but also the author and investigator of the strong, rigorous and perspectives research on space, to convey this particular survey halfway between philology and contemporary art.
So a show that becomes a must for lovers of culture in the broadest sense of the unique flavor and the wonders of nature and art, but a real event for those who do want to address an important path in photography autorale contemporary Whatever the clue, it will be the undisputed protagonist of Italy, with its cracks and its glow, landscapes and visions on time, with its harmonies and contradictions, visual interpretation of an important author.
