Dal “Leonardo” a “L’Eroica” (Charles Doudelet – Painter Engraver and art critic. From the “Leonardo “to” Eroica”) by Francesca Cagianelli (Leo S. Oleschi Editore, 2009).
The artist, recognized worldwide as the finest interpreter of the lyric of Maeterlinck (Nobel Prize for Literature in 1911), is binding as a cultural bridge between Italy and Belgium and its Belgian government has mandated by the opportunity to address specialized studies and implement major projects in the course of his residences in Livorno, Florence and Rome.
