After Baj, breathless, Canuti and Nespolo, Pontedera hosts this year the sculptor Simon Benetton Treviso artist of world renown. Mumbai, the father is the famous sculptor Toni Benetton, by the mid-seventies, has presented numerous exhibitions, both personal and collective, in Italy and abroad, where he received several awards for his work with a strong emotional impact defined as “works of light” or “sound works” forged in metal and glass splinter worked.

Invited several times in the Biennale International des Deportes en La Bellas Artes, participated in festivals and international conferences and has received commissions throughout the world, from Brindisi in Bonn and from Toronto to Fukuroi.

A Pontedera il Cantiere Simon Benetton: Fuoco, ferro, forza, forma si è aperto ufficialmente con l’installazione nei luoghi più significativi della città di undici sculture che immediatamente hanno intrapreso un dialogo con il territorio urbano: la luce che traspare dalle fenditure lavorate nella thin sheet of iron seems to harmonize with the shapes of the city.
