Joconde. From the Mona Lisa Mona Lisa naked – Florence – from June 14 to January 06th 2010
From June 14 to January 6, 2010 the Museo Ideale Leonardo Da Vinci of Vinci – Florence exhibition presents striking one of the most interesting topics in art history: Joconde. From the Mona Lisa Mona Lisa naked, edited by Agnes Saturday and Alessandro Vezzosi, with the assistance of Carlo Pedretti and other international experts.
The aim of this exhibition-event is to take stock of origin, fortune and the mysteries of the Mona Lisa (from commissioning issues, identity, and dating, and the workshop of Leonardo), with a job that will continue over time for the cataloging of all Mona Lisa in the world. This is a work in progress that, apart of the exhibition, aims to document and compare all Mona Lisa Mona Lisa and the world, from the sixteenth century to the present.
