The show’s style of Tsar. Art and Fashion in Italy and Russia since the fourteenth to the eighteenth century, meet at the premises of the Textile Museum in Prato more than 130 works including paintings, clothing and textiles, from the most prestigious museums in Russia – Hermitage Museum and The State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, Museum the Kremlin in Moscow – as well as by several Italian institutions such as museums of the Florentine Museums.
Room display storicaLa exhibition on the birth and development of cultural relations, diplomatic and commercial relations between Italy and the ancient Muscovy, through the conduit of trade in textiles and Italian luxury goods. The route stretches between silks and paintings of great masters of the time – Titian, Domenico Parodi, Justus Suttermans, Paris Bordon – testify to the taste and fashion through the ages; textile treasures from the Kremlin and Italian vestments often custom-designed of great artists, including jewels and dresses of the court of Czar never been exhibited before in Italy and once a symbol of prestige and glory.
